A 5 or 7-day adventure sail to the Channel Islands. This cruise is usually undertaken using our brand new 40′ yacht with no more than 4 guests on board. With the exception of the channel crossing, the sailing is almost all line of sight. Our first port of call is Alderney, and from there we cruise to Guernsey. Stop for a day or move to the next island; much of the itinerary can be shaped by you.
Alderney – Our first stop. Despite its closeness to mainland France (8 miles), Guernsey (23 miles), Jersey (30 miles) and the Isle of Wight (60 miles), Alderney has managed to avoid mainstream tourism. An unspoiled, peaceful island with an abundance of flora and fauna, as well as beautiful beaches. Video here.
Guernsey – St Peter Port has a huge choice of restaurants with an international flavour and lively pubs and bars to soak up the atmosphere. With its cobbled streets and picturesque seafront marina, it is easy to see why St Peter Port is considered one of Europe’s prettiest harbour towns. Guernsey’s capital has been a busy port since Roman times.
Sark – There are no cars on Sark – only tractors, bikes or horses and carriages. Sark is unique: British, but somewhere completely different.
Herm – A paradise island with beautiful, unspoilt beaches and a safe, clean, pollution-free environment. There are no cars, no crowds and definitely no stress.
“Had a brilliant week sailing from Salcombe over to the Channel Islands including Guernsey and Sark aboard our beautiful yacht for the week. Nick, our skipper, was great company. Friendly and knowledgeable, he taught us so much and gave us confidence for our future sailing. Thanks for letting us challenge ourselves with this epic trip – we loved every minute and will never forget it!”
